Just a really quick update from me. As you’ll probably have noticed I’ve gone a bit quiet. From regularly knocking out a weekly newsletter on #Golang to not much at all really.
With Covid and the outlook for face-2-face training in 2020 and 2021, I’ve taken up some short-term contract work to pay the bills and “keep the wolf from the door”. I’m doing Go so it’s all good, but this means I’ve less time for writing ATM.
Please bear with me - I plan to get back into the swing of it early in 2021.
In the meantime I’m thinking of curating some links I find about Golang and related technologies and sending those in place of the tutorial for now?
Let me know what you think about this idea in the comments - I know not everyone needs another links newsletter :D, so I won’t set this up unless I get some positive signal that it would be welcomed.
I’m working with AWS now after using Google Cloud Platform extensively, so maybe when the newsletter cranks up I’ll be able to offer some #Golang relevant insights there too.
In the meantime, if Christmas is your thing - have a good one! If not, enjoy the holidays with your family.
Finally, thank you for subscribing to my newsletter in 2020, I hope it’s been useful to you. What a year 2020 has been - here is to everyone having a much better 2021 :)
Stay safe and keep on Going. Do you see what I did there?
